Fall is here.....goodbye summer 2009

We had one of the best summers yet. Colin and I started the summer by taking a trip to Wisconsin Dells with Amy and the girls (Felicia and Lexi). Colin loved the "rain" pool, the Wisconsin Ducks ride and the airplane rides. He also thought staying at the hotel with the girls was pretty cool.

The boys and I made a trip to the Pine Island pool with Great-Grandma, Amy, the girls, Grandma Cheryl, Bridget and James. Auntie Bridget managed the pool this year and we went to visit her. Colin had no fear and had a blast jumping off the side of the pool all afternoon!

We received a free waterslide and it was by far the best free gift ever. We spent many weekends playing all day on the waterslide! Colin and the neighbors kids had so many fun times with it.

We went on bike rides as often as Bryan and my legs would handle.Colin and Justin absolutely loved taking bike rides around Altura or the Winona Lake.

We ended the summer with a trip to the State Fair (although by the picture you may think it was Fall since it was so cool that weekend). The boys had a blast, seeing cows wasn't necessarily new to them (Colin thought they were all Ben's anyhow) but all the people, the rides and everything else was so exciting - they were exhausted by the end of the day!

In the midst of all our fun, we purchased our 3rd rental property in Winona. As if we weren't busy enough.....we like to make it interesting:) We're sad to see the summer end but we have a lot planned for a fun Fall!
